The Fast Lane

| THE FAST LANE Weekdays | 6:00 a.m. - 9:00 a.m. | ![]() |
| About the Fast Lane: Hosted by Tyler Maun. The Fast Lane is a new concept in morning drive sports radio. It is designed to give morning commuters all of the day’s relevant sports news, highlights and interviews without all the fluff and same old opinions. Additionally, the show offers traffic and weather updates making The Fast Lane Denver’s only choice for the well informed sports fan. |
![]() | About Tyler Maun: Tyler is a Denver native, born and raised in the Mile High City until he left for college at the impressionable age of 18. After a year in the wheat fields of the Palouse region of eastern Washington at Washington State University, he decided against another few years of having to drive to Idaho to go to Wal-Mart and/or Taco Bell and transferred to the bustling metropolis of Lincoln, Neb. As a student at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln, Tyler interned at ESPN Radio affiliate KLMS 1480 under Chris Schmidt and the formerly-named "Average Joe Sports Show." Prior to graduating in May 2007, Tyler hosted a sports-talk radio show on the University of Nebraska's radio station and was one of the station's play-by-play voices for Huskers football, basketball and baseball. His red bias remains to this day, despite what he may say. |
Favorite Team: Anything in Denver (Rockies, Broncos, Nuggets, Avs in that order), and yes, yes I went to Nebraska, so that one's obvious
Favorite Athlete: Craig House, former Rockies reliever. An unspectacular career, but he had a delivery that makes my friends and I debate to this day whether or not it was a balk.
Best Interview Subject: The meaning of sports beyond the field (think cheesy Tom Rinaldi stories)
Best Game I Ever Saw in Person: Too many to name. Pretty obvious now, but the 2007 Wild Card Tiebreaker between the Rockies and Padres. Seriously, what more could you want? Or Dec. 6, 1998, the Broncos come from behind to beat the Chiefs 35-31 to go to 13-0
